Terms of Service

Sample terms for a demo site. Have them reviewed before using them for a real business.

Estimates

Estimates are free and come in writing. A written quote is good for 30 days. The price on your signed quote is the price you pay, unless you ask us to add work.

Scheduling and weather

We'll confirm your job date and send a reminder the day before. If wind, lightning or ice makes the work unsafe, we reschedule at no charge, usually within 3 days.

Cancellations

Cancel for free up to 24 hours before your job. Inside 24 hours it's still free, unless the crew is already on the way, in which case a small trip charge applies.

Deposits and payment

• No deposit on most jobs. Very large jobs may need a deposit to book, and we tell you up front.
• Payment is due when the work is finished and you've checked it with us.
• We accept card, check, cash and Zelle. Payment plans are offered through a financing partner on approved credit.

Your property

Please tell us about anything we should know before we start, like shutoff valves that don't close, past leaks or earlier repairs. Pipes and fittings in older homes can be fragile; if a corroded part breaks while we work on it, we'll show you and quote the fix before going further. We protect floors with drop cloths. If we damage something, we repair it or pay for the repair.

Property lines and permits

You confirm that you own the property, or have the owner's permission, before work begins. Where a permit is required, we pull it; the job starts once it's issued.

Old parts and debris

Unless you ask to keep them, old fixtures, water heaters and pipe become ours to haul away and recycle.

Insurance

We carry $2M general liability and workers' compensation insurance. A certificate of insurance is available on request.
