Why us

Hi, I'm Nate. I'll be the one under your sink.

No sales guy, no call center. The plumber who looks at the problem is the one who prices it, and usually the one who fixes it.

How it works

How a job goes

Most jobs start with a text and a photo. Here's a normal Tuesday morning, start to finish.

  1. Hi, our kitchen sink is backed up again 😩 photo attached

    sink.jpg
  2. Morning! This is Nate. Looks like grease in the drain line. I can be there at 10. Flat $189 to clear it, camera check included.

  3. Perfect, see you at 10

  4. On my way. White van, about 10 minutes out.

  5. All clear. I sent you the camera video. Run the water, and pay once you're happy with it.

  6. Draining like new. Thank you!!

  • You text or call. A plumber answers, not a call center.
  • You get the price first. In writing, before any work starts.
  • You pay last. After you've checked the work with us.

Typical prices

What most jobs cost

Ranges from our jobs around Millbrook last year. Your written quote is a flat price and won't change on the day.

Drain cleaning

$150–$350 per drain

  • Main sewer line with camera: $295–$550
  • Most kitchen clogs cleared in under an hour
  • Hydro-jetting for grease and roots: from $450

Water heater replacement

$1,400–$2,600 installed

  • 50-gallon gas tank, like-for-like: about $1,650
  • Tankless: $3,200–$4,800 with venting
  • Haul-away and permit always included

Leak repair

$175–$650 per leak

  • Faucet and valve drips: the low end
  • Leak inside a wall: opening included, patch extra
  • Slab leaks priced once we've located them

Whole-house repipe

$4,500–$12,000 per home

  • A 2-bath ranch in PEX: about $6,000
  • Usually 2–4 days, water on every night
  • Permits, inspection and wall patching included

What moves the price: how easy the pipe is to reach, what's behind the wall or under the slab, the age of the plumbing, and whether the town needs a permit. Nights and weekends cost the same as weekdays.

Do this right now

  1. Shut off the main. Usually where the water line comes in, near the meter or water heater.
  2. Water near outlets? Switch that area off at the breaker, or call 911 if anything sparks.
  3. Take photos of the water and the damage. Your insurance company will want them.
  4. Call us. Don't pour drain cleaner into a backup; it makes the line dangerous to open.

    Are your estimates really free?

Yes. We come out, find the problem, and give you a flat written price with no cost and no obligation. Most estimates happen the same or next day.

Do you charge by the hour?

No. You get one flat price for the job before we start. If it takes us longer than we thought, that's on us, not you.

Do you clean up after the job?

Always. Shoe covers in the house, drop cloths under the work, and we wipe up and haul off the old parts when we're done.

    Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Every job is run by a licensed master plumber, and we carry $2M in liability plus full workers' comp. We'll send a certificate before any job.

    Do I need a permit?

Water heaters, repipes and new bathroom plumbing usually need one. We pull the permit, book the inspection and meet the inspector.

Can you work with my insurance after a leak?

Yes. We photograph the damage, write up the cause, and send a detailed invoice that makes the claim easier.

How long does a water heater swap take?

A like-for-like tank swap takes about 3 hours. Moving it or switching to tankless can take most of a day. You'll know before we start.

Tank or tankless: which should I get?

Tankless saves space and never runs out, but costs more up front and may need a bigger gas line. We'll tell you honestly which makes sense for your house.

Why does my drain keep clogging?

Usually grease, roots or a sag in the line. A camera check shows us which one, so we fix the cause instead of just clearing it again.

Can you fix a fixture I bought myself?

Yes. Bring your own faucet, toilet or disposal and we'll install it. The one-year warranty covers our labor either way.

    Do you do commercial work?

Yes, for small shops, offices and restaurants. Same flat pricing, and we can work before or after business hours.

Do you charge extra for nights or weekends?

No. A burst pipe at 2am costs the same as one at 2pm. Planned Saturday work is fine too, with no extra charge while we have openings.
